Smooth Rice-flower
Pimelea glauca

Small shrub that can vary in height from prostrate (on the ground) to 60cm high. In the Jan Juc cliffs it forms attractive blooms of densely packed white flower heads close to the ground (see plate 4).

Bluish-green leaves are pointed, opposite and decussate (pairs of leaves cross over at 90 degree angles up the stem). Leaves are hair free (glaucous) but some petals on the flowers are hairy.
