The common name of 'Common Correa' doesn't really do justice to this species as recent taxonomic work suggests it is an endemic variety confined to the area between Eastern View and Deep Creek in Torquay. It is found along the Jan Juc cliff tops but is a much bigger component of the Coastal Heath vegetation as one heads south west towards Bells and beyond.
Leaves are variable and can be ovate to narrowly ovate to heart-shaped and usually strongly recurved; dull green above and lighter beneath with dense woolly hairs.
Flowers are a yellowish-green, pendulous with the male anthers longer than the floral tube.
Honeyeaters and Eastern Spinebills regularly visit the flowers.
