Austral Bear's Ear
Cymbonotus preissianus

Small rosette forming herb to 10 cm high and 30 cm wide. Bright yellow daisy-like flower which can bloom throughout the year but usually in spring. Irregularly toothed leaves green to dark green on top and hairy and white underneath. Leaves can be over 15cm long and in an oval to elliptic shape. A native to Australia but could be mistaken for a weed. Can be used in the garden as an addition to rockeries.
